'Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn' Having Trouble Getting PG-13 Rating

According to various reports, the fourth installment in Summit Entertainment's popular vampire series entitled Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 is not actually rated PG-13 as of yet. In fact, the studio is having a difficult time getting passed the MPAA with a PG-13 rating due to the birth scene in the film which is apparently extremely graphic. Wyck Godrey, a producer on the film, is uncertain if the highly anticipated sequel will get passed the MPAA with anything less than an R rating or not.

Wyck went on to state that he's seen numerous cuts of the birth scene already and it's still incredibly powerful. "It deifnitely captures what the book captures."

Edward biting the placenta in order to get the baby out is the primary reason Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 is struggling for a PG-13 rating. Of course, the birth scene is one of the most memorable moments in any of the books thus it'd be a slap in the face to fans to cut the scene out of the film. I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens. We'll definitely keep you posted!
